I made the MMf for a couple of times only and I like it very much, the taste is a lot better that the packaed one. I used cornstarch to roll it, but it gets very stiff. So the other day I was working with gumpaste and the book said to grease your rolling surface to prevent from sticking. So I did the same with the MMF and turned out great. I heat it a little (5-10 seconds depending on amount I using) and even kneaded in a little shortening and became pliable and very easy to use.

Any one had this problem? How you handled it?

When I read your topic post, I was thinking my MMF seems to soft. It is fine for covering a cake but when I cut out circles for instance, they don't hold their shape.

Can someone please give me some pointers, so my circles will stay in the shape of a circle?

Newatdecorating,

Thank you for the link. I am making a cake next week-end and I need to use MMF accents.
