My Gumpaste Is Falling Apart And Cracking!!

The more I think about it, the more I'm thinking you rolled it too thin? Do you think that's it?
If it's cracking, then it's probably too dry to begin with. If parts are falling off then you are handling it too rough before it is done drying. Proper gumpaste should not be so easily breakable, even if rolled paper thin. So I doubt that it is from rolling to thin. I do not recommend using gumpaste mixes if you're not very familiar with working with it. It's very easy to make it incorrectly if you don't know what it is supposed to feel like.
AWhat about a homemade gum paste made from powder sugar, corn syrup and gelatin? I made it just for a couple times and it worked well, but today I have a problem with a new batch I made. It is cracking horrible and figures coming out of mold looking absolutely awful (cracked, with holes like a sponge in places and wrinkled). Anyone knows what did I do wrong? Help pls!

I think you need to add some glycerine to the mixture.
Or make a batch using Tylose.
