I just made a cake today and for the first time used the recipe for the cake mix extender, I can't believe that I didn't know of this sooner. It made just the right amount of batter I needed. Thank you everyone who has wrote about it. THANX!!!!!!! icon_biggrin.gif

I use this more than anything and I love it too! I have tried so many scratch recipes but this is the one I always fall back on 'cause it's just so consistent and I can make any flavor I need icon_smile.gif

what is a cake mix extender....I missed that .... as you can see I am new to this.

I used one the other night and it made my crust extremely hard. Tastes good, but overall I wasn't impressed. I used one from this site actually....
