I'm stumped! I'm looking to make a "thank you for supporting our troops" cookie. (decorated sugar cookie) Anyone have any good ideas for designs? TIA!!

They sell ribbon shaped cookie cutters like , those might be nice, or flag shaped decorated red white and blue...

you could get one of the breast cancer awareness ribbon cutters and do it yellow with the words across the ribbon, like those bumper stickers.

Here's some red, white & blue cookies -- strips of red and white fondant were laid out, rolled together, then cut with the same cookie cutter for the stripes.

This may sound odd, but how about a pinup girl? I bet those would get the motivation going for the troops...lol. Check out my DH website www.darbydollco.com (these are all original drawings by my dh) just to give you an idea.

Thanks for the ideas, everyone! I thought about those things, too (the ribbon was the first thing that came to my mind, too!), but I guess I'm looking for something a little different. I dont know.. Like a teddy bear in an army outfit maybe?
dessertdiva - I LOVE the idea of pinup girls! I think that I will totally have to use that idea for when I send the cookies to the soldiers, too! (These cookies that I need are for the people who SEND cookies to the soldiers, not the soldiers themselves)
