Go buy the Wilton cupcake stands if that's the kind (or similar to the kind) you were going to order.

Take these coupons with you if you have a store in your area:

Hobby Lobby:
http://www.hobbylobby.com/site3/weekly/coupons/coupon.cfm

AC Moore:
http://www.acmoore.com/showweeklyspecialcoupon.asp?ID=98

Michael's isn't offering coupons on that web site. (wow coupons)

Print them out twice and take a friend if you need two stands.

Here is our family favorite! Play close attention to the directions because it is the dry ingredients that go in the mixer first! These are sooo yummy, that we even eat them without icing on them! Enjoy!

One Egg Cupcakes

2 c. All Purpose flour
1-1/4 c Sugar
2-1/2 ts. Baking Powder
1 ts. Salt
1/3 c. Crisco, shortening
1 ts. Vanilla, PURE
1 c. Milk
1 large egg

Directions:

1. Preheat top oven to 400*. Line cupcake pans with paper 24 baking cups.

2. In your mixer, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add Crisco and 2/3 c. of the milk. Scrape sides of bowl well.

3. Beat for 2 minutes. Add remainder of the milk, add the vanilla and the egg. Beat 2 additional minutes. Scrape sides of bowl well.

4. Bake cupcakes for 15-18 minutes.

Wal-mart has the wilton cupcake stands now too, they may be cheaper there.

I don't know what these cupcakes are for but I have an idea for a funky and cheap cupcake stand.

Go to the dollar store and buy a plastic plate that is very colorful and a sturdy but clear plastic glass or even a wine glass and stack them up you can secure them with a glue gun. I have used these at BBQ's and Showers and they are great and inexpensive.

Hope this helps

Kathy
