Hi All,
Can anyone share how you make a dark or navy blue color in buttercream? I have Wilton blue ( several shades) and Americolor royal blue and nothing is dark enough. Any help???

I know americolor make a navy blue, but in the past I have added a touch of black to get it darker. If you do this, do it very gradually so that you don't get too dark and loose the blue color.

You could try adding just a tiny tiny amount of black to the navy blue. Try it with just a little of your icing before tinting all of it to be sure it's the color you want first!!!

Ditto. Just add like the tinest bit on the end of a toothpick. It doesn't take much to go from being blue to being all black.

I'd do the blue and black thing, but be careful with that black color -a little will do it.
