for keys: fondant cut out with very small oval cutter. (might "sacrifice" an old round tip and squish it to make an oval)
might use rubber stamp set of letters to stamp the ovals w/ the letters
i suppose you could print out all the letters as an edible image and then cut them all out too

yep...any food coloring would work...I'd probably do black gel and spread it out thin on a plate to create the "stamp pad" (same technique as when doing block prints)
