I got mine at Michaels..it looks almost like light Corn Syrup. Did it come with a "Warning Label" ? ask the Pharmacist..I'm assuming that should be the same one. there's really no other kind. ![]()
There is food grade and non-food grade glycerin. I would buy the glycerin where it is specifically marketed for use in food like at www.sugarcraft.com or where it's stated that the glycerin is food grade/edible. Even at Michaels, the glycerin may not be food grade since glycerin has many other uses.
Hmmmm glad I asked this as I had no idea there were two grades. Well my pharmacist already think I'm nuts for asking them to bring in Tragan whatever it is....sorry can't remember the actual name and have never been able to pronounce it either LOL.....but it is upstairs and when I get a chance I will search out a recipe to try it with. I'll be sure to check for edible grade glycerine now. ((thanks)) ![]()
