I've seen some beautiful ones here at CC. Click on search in the gallery and type in hydrangea. Then you can see who has made them and p.m. them with questions. Everyone is very helpful here.

I have the Hydrangea cutter and veiner. Just make a tiny gum paste ball about the size of a small BB, stick it onto the end of a floral wire dipped in gum glue, let it dry at least several hours, overnight is even better. Make your cut petals, thin and vein, slip the end of the wire through the center of the petal, add a tiny dot of gum glue in the center and pull the wire down until the dried center ball sits securely in the center, make a large hook or bend in the end of the wire and hang the flower upside down from the edge of a block of styrofoam to dry. Tape the wired stem with floral tape, tape as many flowers together as desired to make a cluster or nosegay, dust the flowers with petal dust and steam to set the color. It takes about a dozen flowers to make a nice cluster so I make dozens of dried centers ahead and then do the flowers.
