I am so frustrated. Yesterday was my daughter's 2nd birthday and I made a Sesame Street themed cake for her. I made a White Chocolate and Almond icing to go over her dark chocolate cake. The icing was so runny it was all I could do to keep it on the cake. My question is can humidity affect icing consistency? Our AC Broke yesterday and I had to open the windows. It was only like 70 degrees. I just don't know what else could have happened! icon_sad.gif

Humidity plays a big factor in the icing.
I don't know what the recipe was for your icing
though. DId you put the icing when the cake was
still warm? Too much liquid?

I had one do this to me not too long ago....it was really thin and literally slid off the cake....I had to ice it several times.........I'd put too much liquid in it.
