Hey twinsy,

How about cutting the holes from a card board box side; wrap the flap(s) in decorative paper or foil and slip the cones through. Use another box(s) to transport with saran wrap over the top(s) thumbs_up.gif

thanks guys! all great ideas.....

I ended up dabbing the bottoms with royal and bunching them together and tying a thin ribbon around them...I figured if theyve already fell over twice and didnt really dent...why not let them hold each other up.... icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif .....besides I highly doubt after these 1st graders gather around the box tomorrow....no matter what i did would hold them back icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

I'll post a picture ...but yes I know the cone on the right has icing on the cone... icon_biggrin.gif and that the writing is crooked...I had it cursive but my 7 yr old asked to me to please re-do it and print it...not all the kids can read cursive he said icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

If you look at my pictures you can see what I did with my ice cream cone cupcakes. I used a mailing box and cut x's in the top. You could use a shirt box as well, but it kind of sinks in the middle with the weight of the cupcakes. That's why I used a mailing box. The whole thing was sturdy enough to keep the cones from making it sink. HTH.

Just wanted to say how cute these are. What a great idea! How do you put these together. These will be perfect for a kids party I am planning next month.

Line the muffin pan with foil, place the icecream cones and fill...depending on how high you want them with cake batter.

I did this two years ago to go along with a Sponge Bob cake but forgot to get a picture...running behind time, haven't had an order for them again icon_cry.gif They are fun to do icon_biggrin.gif

Twinsy, those are great...love the cherry topping thumbs_up.gif
