I normally use a 9x13 for a 1/4 sheet cake

Me too-- I use a 9x13 pan for a 1/4 sheet. I think that's pretty common. I use a 12x18 for a half.

All areas of the country and world seem to have different opinions on this question. Some areas only have 1/2 and full sheets. But the sizes are the same as a 1/4 and 1/2 somewhere else.

I would suggest calling any local bakery and find out what dimensions their cakes are. That way you will be the same as others in your area.

From what I've read it is a 9x13 pan.
