I am in search of an idea for a Grand Opening celebration for a children's wing of a library. I was thinking either stacked children's books or a Dr. Seuss themed cake. Any suggestions or photos would be appreciated. Thanks, Lori V.

I'm thinking rainbows, I guess cuz they're colorful. If you could do a 3d rainbow, and at each end have a stack of books and pipe on the rainbow Reading is Fun! Check the link to a pic I found in the gallery that has a 3d rainbow. Another idea is to make a few characters out of fondant (or buy) and have them sitting with a book. Hope this helps.

here's a sketch for you.

I'd put "Where the Wild Things Are" as the edible image on top. That's supposed to be Max peeking up over the back of the book.

Alice could be holding a book.
