I was lucky enough to find this site while searching for cake ideas for my daughters 15th Birthday 
. I am trying to get ideas for a 'gothic' cake. So this thread is just basically to say, HI, nice to meet you.
As I was going through the galleries all I can say is you guys are some very talented people! I could only hope to get that good. I look forward to getting to know you all.

I've seen some nice Tim Burton inspired cakes on here - they're pretty gothic and amazing too. Try searching for tim burton, nightmare before christma, jack skellington, beetlejuice etc.
Welcome! I'd go take a lot at some tattoo web sites. I was in a bakery the other month and a girl was wanting a goth cake She pulled down the back of her britches and showed the baker her tattoo and wanted it duplicated. The lady sat there and copied that bad boy without even flinching. I about died laughing.
Welcome to the site. Everyone here is great! I have learned so much. I got on here 2 months ago to find a cake design for my son. I am addicted to the site. Now, I have found some great ideas for son #2. And, for First Communion. Easter was fun!
