I've been browsing through the recipes here on this site and keep seeing "Sugar 10x" or "Sugar 6x"

What do those numbers mean?

Thanks!

I have always been curious about that myself, I just kind of ignore it and use plain-ole C&H powdered sugar!!

10X and 6X refer to how finely ground the sugar is (10x is ultrafine, 6x is very fine, and 4x is fine).

HTH!
