I dont have any decorating books yet. I wont pay $40 for any book. There are several on Amazon and I may buy 2.
I do mostly buttercream with fondant, gumpaste accents, & chocolate transfers.
Which ones would you consider a must have? I am not interested in any that a filled with recipes.

Thanks for the help,
Shivs

toba garretts professional cake decorating is at the top of my list. I have it and it is and awesome book. It is set up to be instructional with lessons and all. It is a bit pricey but definately worth the $$

Check out colette peters or debbie brown they have some good ones out also.

I like the Well Decorated Cake by Toba Garrett. I haven't seen her professional cake book yet but I'm sure it's a good one too.

I like 'The Essential Guide To Cake Decorating' published by Whitecap. It has a few basic recipes, then shows many decorating techniques-BC & fondant.
It is a retired book, but I got one from Amazon this past Dec- because I kept taking the out of the Library every 4-6 weeks! Thought it was time I had my own.
