When I use a BC icing, should I use BC or RI for drop strings? Why or why not for either? Which one should I use for a fondant-covered cake? Thanks for your help!

You can use either and in stiff consitency and use corn syrup in the icing to make it more elastic. I would use buttercream as they won't get as hard with a tendency to break easier with royal.

Thank you! Breakage is a good point to consider!
