Hello all I am a beginner and I have completed wiltons three courses and now I am interested in practicing I want to make a purse cake but I have no idea which pan would be best should I make a sheet cake and stack and then sculpt please help I am very eager to begin. Thanks

depends on the look of the purse you're going for. i've never done one myself, but i know some people will use round cakes, cut them in half, then stack them on their sides to give a half round looking purse. if it's a more "baguette" type purse, i think you will have to sculpt it. or make a very long row of half rounds, and kind of sculpt on the ends.
