I've seen some cute ideas for cylinder shaped cakes (ex- a dog bone) - where the cake was a jelly roll. Can you achieve this with dr'd mix? I've never tried it. And, I actually need to make that dog bone cake! icon_smile.gif

I have read of people doing this, but I have never personally tried it. I stick with my sponge cake. I am afraid that because the cake roll is baked so thin, the moisture from the filling would cause the cake to get soggy.

I could be wrong. Anyone else?
