OK I've seen lots of you post about them. So I think I'm going to ask for some of them for my birthday (which is far away but if I get the bug in dh's ear maybe I'll get them for Mother's Day).
Anyway, do these books have instructions in them or is it just pictures of cakes?

They do have instructions, they are fondant cakes. Many of which can be reproduced in buttercream, some may need some fondant accents. May i suggest her 50 easy party cakes for a start. There are some wonderful and fairly easy 3-d designs in this one.

I love the Debbie Brown books, I have made a few of her cakes. The instructions are very good but the cakes take along time to make because they are so detailed. I think the details in Debbies cakes make them look spectacular and much fancier that an ordinary cake.

When you make a debbie brown cake, you are making an artwork rather than just a cake!

I did one of her cakes not long after I had started cake decorating (fire truck) I was really happy with the result.

You will love the books when you get them!

Have fun with it!

Look at www.amazon.com. There you can look into some of Debbie Browns books to get an idea.

I have every one of her books and I love them. Her book Enchanted Cakes for Children was the first cake decoarting book I ever bought.

I think you can get some of her books on Amazon and also try eBay, you may be able to buy them from her website which is:

Have fun!

Try looking at Half.com. Sometimes you can get some great dea;s there. Even better than Ebay even though they are partners.

I just got her Favorite Chracter Cakes at Cooking.com for $7.96 plus shipping. I thought that was a pretty good deal. They also have several others at reasonable prices.
