Ok - need some help here. I have been asked to do my cousins bridal shower cake. My aunt purchased the invitations, which happen to have silver and god bells on the front.

They wanted me to try an duplicate the invitation, but I have no idea where they sell gold or silver gel paste or any kind of colorant. I was hoping to color royal icing silver. Am I out of luck?

Thanks in advance!
Tina

Look in my gallery, my New Years cake is silver. I used silver foliage dust with lemon juice. I have also sude it on royal icing, after it dries, you can dust it on or brush it on with lemon juice or vodka mixed in. My silver was darker than I wanted, but there are many other luster, pearl and sparkle dusts out there to get a lighter color. Just remember to combine extract/vodka with color in a seperate container (should be a pretty tiny one) and in very small doses to get your desired color.
