do you guys use cocoa powder to make chocolate BC??

Some people have..other people like cali4dawn like to mix one recipe of buttercream and one recipe of ganache to get chocolate buttercream.

I do....I just add some to my buttercream recipe but add a little extra liquid.

I made chocolate bc a couple weeks ago and it was delicious. I used 1 1/2 c for a double batch of buttercream. It was rich and chocolaty.

I use Butter Crisco in place of regular Crisco when making chocolate buttercream. If you use an all butter buttercream then this wouldn't help you but maybe someone else!!
