does anyone know how to make a cake for display? i would appreciate any recipes, information, etc... you can give me. can i use fondant, royal icing???

I use my regular buttercream. It crust well and I just have to keep little fingers out of it.

There is a perma-ice frosting that is like fake frosting but Most people I know use Buttercream, Fondant, and Royal icing.

I would definitely do a search of the forums thought. There are a lot of ideas and suggestions of things to use and where to get them.
