I know, I know... that the show, books, learning tools, from Dora the Explorer are insanely popular with kids these days, but is anyone else ready to scream if they have to look at one more Dora or Diego cake?! Some of the cakes posted are insanely talented in that theme, I just can't get away from that character, its everywhere in the stores!!! I think she's following me!!
Just finished one for delivery Sunday morning.. 2 tiers, for a 3 yr. old.
This was my first Dora cake, so it didn't bug me. Thank god my granddaughter tells me that Dora is for babys and doesn't want to watch it anymore... 
My daughter loves Drora, and I've certainly done a few Dora themed cakes in the past! I actually don't mind doing her as she and the other characters are pretty simple to replicate! Now, ask me to do another Sleeping Beauty cupcake cake and I might just have to scream lol!

all I have to say is that it could be Barney...
Thank goodness my kids were teenagers by the time Barney came out and my granddaughter was after the whole Barney rage...all I can say is, I'd take Dora over Barney and day!!

I have a serious Dora aversion too...this is going to sound crazy, but when I was pregnant with DD2 I was extremely sick, so I let DD1 watch ALOT of Dora. Everytime I see or hear her, the nauseous feelings come back...I seriously cannot stand the sound of her voice because I want to just throw up. Of course, DD1 wanted a Dora party last year for her 3rd bday...blech!
my lil one used to love dora. when it was time for the show to come on she would stand in front of the tv and say "the explora the explora" now thank goodness she's decided dora is "stupid"
My DH and I have two little boys that LOVE Dora and Diego....I brought him in to read this and we laughed until we almost cried.... Thanks for the giggle!
My daughter loves Dora. So I have to listen to that silly backpack song on a regular basis, lol!
