Was pretty bad.....
i have been sick for almost a week. feeling better today, just in time to go to work..lol
saturday my DH started feeling bad and he was full blown sick yesterday. the kids kept saying what are we going to do for Easter? i felt so bad for them. my DD went and put her dress on and walked around the house all day in it.

Our Easter was VERY low key this year, but we liked it. The bunny came, of course, so the kids had their baskets and an egg hunt. Then we all kicked back and watched TV/played on computer/read. My mom is in the hospital (she just had gastric bypass surgery, and is coming home today), and one of my sisters is dealing with a death in her husband's family, so we did not do the typical family dinner.
Why don't you have your Easter this coming Sunday? Then, you can still have the traditional family celebration while everyone is healthy. You're DD would certainly LOVE to wear her Easter dress twice!
Besides, this Sunday is the Orthodox Easter. Same holiday celbration, just different calendar.
yes we told the kids we would do it this weekend for them. they are looking forward to it. i just hope my DH is better by then. he is still very sick. he has had fever since saturday and it is tuesday already. i may take him to the doctor if i can get him to go.
Wow Carla, sorry to hear that you had a bad weekend! I guess it's just the area, everyone in my family has been sick for the past week too! (Mostly allergies I think, but the heat here isn't helping!) Glad you're feeling better!
[My Easter weekend wasn't great either. We turned on our A/C for the first time this year Saturday night, and it felt great until we realized the unit was freezing up and had to cut it off. Then Sunday afternoon, my 'fridge went out! So it was 95 degrees in my house and I had to clean out the fridge! We called the A/C repair guy Monday morning, he finally came that afternoon. My DH got a BRILLIANT idea to check the breakers on the 'fridge issue and he wiped out my computer! So, I went to town and bought a new refrigerator while he called his friend that is a computer tech. The friend finally called back Monday night about 9pm...I was depressed all day because I thought my computer was dead! There is no reset "button" on my computer (and I am NOT very computer literate...all we had to do was completely unplug then plug back in (duh!) and it was back up and running!]
Wednesday now...my allergies are starting to clear, A/C is working, 'fridge is restocked, computer is working...ALL IS GOOD HERE FINALLY!
