Hey-- I've been asked to do a strawberry amaretto cake. I've never tried this before and was debating whether its better to glaze the layers with strawberry puree/syrup that's been flavored with amaretto? Or is it better to say to do the glaze plain and put the amaretto in the whipped cream filling... or in the cake batter?
Maybe it doesn't matter, as long as the amaretto is in there somewhere. What do you think? Anybody have a favorite way to do this?
