Thank You Cc...i Finally Feel Like A Real Baker!

I havent been on in a while because my hubby was getting ready for a deployment and have been just hanging out with him and baking......
All week long I have been baking cookies and icing them and making cupcakes. I usually make one item for each holiday and call my customers and sell them this time i was behind....and off my game so instead of calling my people ....I just made a couple dozen cookies and four dozen cupcakes...and decided to make a stop and shop. (i got this idea from a tupperware lady she goes to business and sets up and lets people stop and shop on there lunch breaks...... I did this at my MIL's work and decise to sell my cookies at $1.50 and cupcakes at $3.00 each. Figureing if i DIDNT sell them all i would pass them aorund to family as gifts after all WHO would pay $3.00 for one cupcake?
Well i planned to stay there all day and with my luck I didnt have to .... I sold out in 10 mintes and made $400.00 .
My mouth dropped......I couldnt belive it. I used to sell myself short allways until i found this place With the support of you guys and girls i found courage to set a price at $1.00 a slice and thoyght that was crazy .... slowly I have built my price up.
NEVER IN MY wildest dreams would i thought i be making this kind of money for my cakes.....after all this is a hobby not a reall job ....its starting to look like this income is surpassing my other job wedding photography.
long story short THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You all inspire me to learn and try new things .....and to better myself everyday......

That i decided to post so hopefully it will help others .....everyone has to start somewhere.....I start by giving my cakes aways for ffamily as gifts, then i started charge $10.00-$20.00 for supplies only then from on from there its been about a year since Ive seen a member of this site And i dont think i would be this far with out everyones help input and guidance....
NOt only that i saw other with similar stories and it kept me hanging in there.....
