I came down this morning & went to my backyard to hide some Easter eggs for my 3 yr old dd to do an egg hunt with later this morning and then came on the computer for a little while as I couldn't get back to sleep. I just turned around (about 45 mins later) AND IT'S SNOWING!!!!!!!!!! And I'm not talking a little snow here..... this is Alberta after all! The forecast said RAIN!! The eggs are going to be burried!!!

So what do I do now?!!? I told her last night before she went to bed that the Easter Bunny was going to steal the eggs we just coloured at night & hide them in our back yeard for us to find in the morning!!!
Well, I guess I can go move the ones on the ground to the fence & her toys as less snow will accumulate there I suppose......

OH NO, sounds like NY weather to me. Don't be upset, she'll have more fun playing in the snow than anything. Besides she'll have the memory of trying to find easter eggs in the snow... LOL Since you buried them, you can "pretend" that you helped her find them... GOOD LUCK!!!!

And I thought I had problems worrying that the chocolates in them would melt!

don't worry swo, as long as everyone is happy, she'll have a great time just being there - egg hunt or no egg hunt, snow or no snow -

Hey, you could bring the hunt inside if you have to

My day...turned on the A/C last nite had to turn off because it kept freezing up, have to call A/C guy tomorrow to come check it out. (It was 95 degrees here today!) Then this afternoon, my refrigerator decides to go out!

I'd do anything to see snow here, today or any other time!

I know how you feel! It's been snowing here in southern BC too! Not as bad as what you have but not very nice weather at all! Hope all went well with the egg hunt!

I live in Alberta too!! However, it didn't snow where I am. I have lots of family in Edmonton though, hope it didn't ruin their egg hunts!
