Check Out The Local Library For Cake Pans

I don't know if all areas do this, but here the local libraries have Wilton cake pans you can check out like books. They carry alot of them and it is free--the only draw back is if they are overdue they hit you with fines. But if you need a pan you don't have try asking to see if they have any.

WOW! I will have to check this out. I recall when I was kid that the librarian said we could check out art(sculptures and paintings) for a month at a time. That sounded so cool. So did you ask the librarian for a list or did you use the catalog to request it. Don't want to look like total dweeb! lol

To answer the question about asking about a list I ran into the pans at one library--they were on the shelf like the books, and another library had a 3 ring binder at the front desk. I would just ask the librarian and see--never hurts to ask!

i could only wish...

my COUNTY system has -- get this -- only 5 cake books for the ENTIRE county scattered between all the branches ---

caveat -- that is what the computer says -- ya right -- none on the shelves!
