Goodness, I was just reading it again and WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO DECORATE THIS CAKE!!!! LOL or should I say when will you sleep????

If you want to deco it on Monday morn after work, I would think you could fill your cake Sunday and maybe even base frost it. I don't know how much time you are gonna need to deco. But if it is already frosted, you can just add the pretties on Monday. One trick I use with any kind of cream filling is to split your cake and on the bottom, put a light layer of BC down to keep the moisture from soaking into it and making it soggy. HTH and good luck!

I'd torte the cakes, wrap them, and stick them in the fridge. If you have time, I'd crumb coat them also to seal in the moisture. You can do the rest of the icing and decorations later. I often do my cakes in bits and pieces
b/c I don't have the time to do the entire cake from start to finish.

I'd get it all set up so all you have to do is take it out and decorate it. You will be glad you did!!! lol I would put all the dowels and everything in. HTH
