I need help/ideas for a Webkinz cake. Wasn't even sure what these were until I looked online. Anyway, I am just starting out and have done a few 3D cakes. A lady in town called and desperately wants a Webkinz 3D cake. A lot of people will see it so I want it to look great. But I'm stumped. She would really like the elephant. Any ideas on have to do this? What sizes, how to carve, etc??
Doug - if you are out there...I know you can come up with something!!
Thank you!
I took a look at what the heck Webkinz is, lol=) I found a link at Wilton that has fondant animals that look really similar to them....

Otherwise you can always find a pic and do a FBCT/Chocolate Transfer. HTH some, Jen

It might help you to actually see a Webkinz...They are sold at Hallmark stores and some other specialty stores. Go back to the site and click on the store locator and follow the directions for finding a store near you. The problem may be that they may be sold out. Apparently they were THE hot item for Easter. I had to search all over town to find one for my son and daughter. I am sure the day is coming when most of us get a request for a Webkinz cake. Good luck and post us a picture when you are done. ![]()
