Friday The 13Th . . . Oh Yeah, I'm Convinced Now!

I swear, I didn't realize what day it was until now . . . but wow, did Friday the 13th strike today!
It started yesterday . . . I came home from a few days in Vegas and noticed that my car wasn't parked behind the house like I had left it. Its a total POS so I knew it wasn't stolen . . . sure enough, it was towed for being parked too long on the street. (I live in the infamous Orange County . . . land of high mortgages, HOA dues and CCRs that will make you scream.) I called and got the info to go pick it up. I found out that according to the DMV I also had 2 tickets for not paying at the booths on the toll road, but I know thats not correct. I am now stuck paying the $155 at the DMV and then the almost $300 at the towing yard.
I wanted to blow off some steam so I took my lifted FJ out for a run . . . we are into four wheeling and so its rigged out pretty well. Wouldn't you know it, I GOT A FLAT!!!!!
I left my phone charger in Vegas with my boyfriend. Of course his charger doesn't work on my phone for some reason and now I have to go buy another charger.
I had ordered a new pan for an upcoming cake and according to UPS it was delivered to my front porch yesterday . . . but of course, its not here and none of my neighbors picked it up for me. FOUR TIMES!
And the best one of all . . . I had left my foster dog at my office and my other dog in the house while I was gone. My brother was going to come by and pick up both dogs to drop them off at the boarding kennels for me. I opened my door and found . . . Josie was still here! She was alone from Monday morning to Thursday at noon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I filled her food and water up Monday when I left, but shes an inside dog so the bowls are prett small. To top it off, she had urinated and defecated in my upstairs hallway a few times. She would have been without water at least 48 hours or longer, which could have been a huge disaster. I almost killed my brother--he says he forgot!--but I've been so upset over leaving Josie here alone. At least Zoey was at work . . . in a kennel with proper love and care . . . poor Jos was completely abandoned!
I think I am about to just give up . . I am going to make a LARGE drink of something fruity and sit on the patio drinking it down slowly. Maybe that will make the day a little mroe tolerable. Ugh.

When I have days like that, I enjoy sitting back with a nice fruity drink, imagining a crystal blue sea, white sandy beaches and a surf instructor named Thor. He has a best buddy named Sven who teaches scuba and then the sweetest young man named Raoul who lathers me up to make sure I never burn.
