What technique do I use to make little carrots and the stem onto of my carrot cake?

I use tip 10 or 12 and just sort of squeeze and pull down a bit.It takes a bit of practice.You can use any tip for the top..I use the grass tip 234 or whatever you want.

I made mine out of fondant that I dyed orange ,then went with a tip #2 and piped green stems
