Do You Have To Use Tylose Powder In Mmf?

making a cake for shower in a few day and have never used mmf before and I don't have any tylose. Do I need this to make this 2 tier cake?

When covering a cake, you do not add tylose to any fondant.

You only add tylose to fondant if you want to make bows, mold figures, etc. Otherwise, they will either be too soft to shape, or they will never harden enough to keep the shape you give it.

Tylose powder is for making your fondant into gumpaste. Don't add it to fondant that you are going to cover a cake with.
