I've never done it, but I would say no.. it's not recommended..
Because the way I see it. once you add liquid , that would activate whatever it that makes cake rise, and that has a certain amount of time that it would "perform"... ![]()
You can't freeze it and get a good result. You can freeze a frozen cake though!
Thank you prettycake and lotsoftots. I figured that it would mess the cake up if I froze the batter, but I thought I would ask anyway. I usually just make a 6 inch cake or cup cakes with my extra batter and freeze those, but I was just curious. Thanks again.
