There's a white base you can use to make the frosting white; I forget what it's called, but Michael's sells it. Also, I've seen some posts on here saying that you can add a very small dot of Americolor violet to your frosting to create white. Add a few tablespoons of meringue powder for every 4 cups of powered sugar that you used in the frosting; this will help it crust and take away the stickiness.

Hey smashcakes..... icon_biggrin.gif I'm not sure about the recipe...but I have this one for WC BC....I never have used it but I think it sounds like it would be yummy. I have a ton of recipes stored that I haven't had a chance to use. icon_lol.gificon_redface.gificon_biggrin.gif

White Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

6 Oz White Chocolate; chopped
1/4 C Whipping Cream
1 C Butter; Cut In Pieces
1 C Powdered Sugar

Microwave white chocolate and cream in medium bowl on high for 1 1/2
minutes until chocolate
is almost melted, stirring halfway through heating time. Stir until white
chocolate is completely
melted. Cool to room temperature. Beat butter and sugar gradually into
cooled mixture on high
speed until light and fluffy.

If you decide to try it let me know how it turns out. I'm like you...I don't really want to use the ones with egg whites. So maybe this one will be a winner. thumbs_up.gif

HTH...hugs, ~Denise
