icon_sad.gif I'm new to cake decorating and am having trouble with coloring. Using Wilton colors, they are too vibrant (red is almost flourescent) - how can I tone them done to normal hues? Any sites that help with mixing colors? Appreciate any help!

Maybe you could try using a little less and see if you like the color. Plus, I heard somewhere that when RI dries the color is a little more intense. Coloring RI can be tricky. I´ve heard here excelent comments on the Americolor. Good luck!

The more color you add the brighter your icing will be. Try and cut back a bit. if you are using the toothpick method of coloring your icing only insert the toothpick just a bit into the coloring and then the icing. Mix to see what the color turns out to be like and add more coloring as needed.
