This may be a silly question but.....

Has anyone ever used buttercream dream icing on their cookies. I know that it won't harden enough to stack cookies on each other but I just wondered about the taste of the cookie with that icing on it. Might be too sweet?

I was thinking of trying it this afternoon, plus it can give me a chance to play around with my tips and learn how more of them work.

Any thoughts?

I use regular buttercream all the time, and love how it tastes! I haven't tried the buttercream dream though.

that is all I use. And they will get hard enough to stack in bags. I decorate them, set them to "dry" for about 3 days, and then place in bag with ribbon. I can place about 25 in a 12x12 box. They are DELICIOUS! They don't decorate as cute as some of the other icings but my customers would DIE if I changed! And, as a cake decorator too, I love that I can use the same icing on both my cakes and cookies
