I am doing a dallas stars jersey cake tomorrow for my husband's Aunt. The problem is I don't have any gold luster dust or anything to make the gold with. What would you fellow CC'ers suggest I do to make a gold color?

It wouldn't be shiny gold but do you have both yellow and brown gel colors? It would be better to start with a more egg or buttercup yellow (rather than lemon yellow) and then maybe add just a drop of brown at a time until you get a "gold" color.

Do you have pearl luster dust? You could brush that over yellow fondant!! Go STARS!!!
