i'm looking for some ideas on making a teenage mutane ninja turtle from scratch with no special pan.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, I did a character pan one a few months ago, but the only other way I can think to do one really is with a Frozen Buttercream Transfer!! Welcome to CC!!

If you do a gallery search, there is a fantastic 3D one made with a rice crispy head. Good luck

You can also do one out of one of the larger round pans ...like a 10 or 12" for the face...then make a 6"....cut it in half and use it for the ends of the mask....put both halves facing the same direction ....to the side of the large round...frost them orange...for Michelangelo..lol...draw the rest of the mask on and the facial features...
