How much surface area will 2 grams of luster dust cover?

I am interested in purchasing the silkwhite or bright white from this website.

Will it cover 3 layers of a round wedding cake?

thanks in advance

A little bit goes a long way. If you are dusting the whole cake using the dust dry, then use a big blush brush to apply it. You can use very little dust if you use it with an airbrush. If you need to paint it on, you may end up using a bit more.

brushed on dry i think 2 grams will be plenty. like mentioned above, if you paint it one it will require more. but you'll always want luster dust, and there's a minimum order amount of 5$ on CC, so i'd get more than you think you'll need just to be safe.
