Does anybody know if I can still use pudding mix into my cake mix while using the cake extender, or should I just do the pudding and make an extra box of cake? icon_confused.gif

Thanks!!!

Thanks Doug!!! Can always count on you!!

Can you tell me how you do it? I do extra eggs with my pudding and I use milk instead of water. I have never tried the cake extender. I got it from this site. How do you put the two together?

Thanks

Has anybody done this? Should I just stay safe and do it with extra boxes and have some cupcakes left over for my kids? They would love that!

Thanks

Hi...I always use the cake extender on every cake mix i use. If I'm trying to make a different falvor (such as banana) I put in a box of pudding (or jello) and some flavored extract. I've also replaced the liquid with juice to make the cake richer in flavor.

Hope this helps!!

There is an extra egg in the extender recipe, so I usually don't bother adding ANOTHER extra egg. I just use the cake mix recipe, extender recipe, and toss in a box of pudding. It works beautifully! icon_smile.gif I don't think it would hurt anything at all to add another egg, but I don't. HTH!

Itsloops, the cake extender is a recipe in recipes sections that you can use along with your cake mixes. It gives you a extra batter and the cake is very moist. I hope this clears it up!

Another question if you please. What size of boxed pudding small or large? TIA

I use the small box of pudding. 3.5 or 3.9 oz. I always add either fruit juice or some coffee creamer to my cakes . if using the coffee creamer I use 1/2 & 1/2 water. If juice, I substitute all the water for juice.
