My friend has a foreign exchange student from Germany who will be graduating high school here in America this May. She wants a full sheet cake with the American flag and German flag on it. Thats all the requirements she gave me, oh all butter cream. Any ideas for a cake would be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking maybe you could make a mortor board and have the top as the german flag. I don't know if they wear them there.

I would keep it simple. Have the flags crossed, and pipe in congratulations name and year, and do the borders and detail work in the school colors. Just an idea?? I'm sure the veterans might have something better.
