Do you think that if I do short lines around the top of a cake (or maybe to make a frame) that it would look like stitching? I'm not sure if it would or if it would look like my icing kept breaking.
Thanks,

Practice by spreading some icing on a cake board first. Then try using something like a tracing wheel for sewing and go over the icing. Then you can trace the lines with another icing and see how that works. I've never actually done this so if it doesn't work........ I'll be in hiding. icon_lol.gif
Good luck. Tabby

maybe you could do a flat border around the edge of the cake first, then use short sort of diagnal lines across that. That sounds like a very pretty idea that you have! I would practice it on something else first to like rlm suggested icon_smile.gif
