Do you have business cards'flyers posted at any local businesses? Since Derby is coming up (very big party season in Louisville), I thought maybe I would post some cards or flyers with pictures of the cookies at the local grocery, party/liquor outlet, etc. I this a good idea?

If you don't have a lisence, this is definately NOT a good idea. If you do, by all means, go ahead. If your not lisenced, you are asking to get hit with a very hefty fine and a visit from the health dept. If your new to decorating, and are "underground" get calling cards and give them to friends and people you meet. Have your name and phone number on them absolutely no business name.
Hope this helps.

you can get cards for really cheap at www.vistaprint.com I got some there with just my name and number and a picture of a cake. You can design your own!

ditto to keoni!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, "calling cards" are wishy-washy also. I've given 3 out in a year and they were to people that I trusted! that would not "tell" on me to the Health Dept. They asked for a card to have personally so they would have my number handy when someone or themselves needed a cake.

Thanks!! We are not legal beagles! I'll just stick with the cards. Do you attach your cards to your bouquets?
