on my fbct, do I use the image off of the computer in reverse or do I trace it onto wax paper and then start working on it? Also, if I have the cake ready for pickup on Thursday at noon with the FBCT image still be fine by Friday evening party?

You print the image in reverse from your computer, tape wax paper over it (I put it on a cookie sheet), then start filling in with your BC.
The image will be fine from Thursday to Friday. That shouldn't be a problem at all. Good luck! Remember to post your picture.
