How in the world do I make burgandy colored icing? I went by the color chart on this site but my icing looks more purple (and not even a nice purple) lol. I am using the Wilton gel colors. Thanks for any help!!

Wilton makes a burgundy. I have always just used the burgundy gel.

Omg, do they really? lol. I didn't know that. I did end up making the burgundy but I think I'll go get some of the burgundy gel. Thanks so much!!!

The Wilton burgundy is more of a purply pink. Please look at my pics for my first wedding cake for course 3. The roses I did are burgundy. I used a lot of Wilton burgundy, and I added a ton of brown and black to it to get those colors.

i did a burgundy with red red and added some black. add only a little black at a time cause it goes a long way. my red rose wedding cake was done with this method.
