i believe you can use any chalk....like crayola, they make theres for kids, so it wont hurt anything to eat it. then you take a knife and scrap it to turn it into a powder. then use your paint brush to paint on your gumpaste flowers.

I also am interested in this. A book that I have says to use non-toxic kid chalk and crush it up to a powder and then use it...but you really shouldn't eat whatever you put it on....I really wouldn't want to eat it anyhow if I knew chalk was on it. If we really can use that, I fear a lot of teacher supply stores are going to come up empty! icon_biggrin.gif

I got mine from a stationary store..like the one that sells stuff for Scrapbooking materials..It comes in a container like eye make-up /eye shadow kit. It's just much larger icon_smile.gif

hmmm....well if no one's going to actually EAT it, can I use eyeshadow? I have some beautiful colors of that.
