I can not figure it out just by looking at it. And I can't find anything searching both here and on google.

Does anyone have instructions?

Thanks!

The best way I can describe it is to pipe a "S" tipping almost on it's side to the right. Then pipe another S, tucking it under the upper curve on the right. Keep them tight together and continue with the S's. It takes a bit of practice but the tigher you get them the more it looks like a rope. Use a #19 or larger for a bigger rope. Hope this helps!

rope boarders are pretty simple & make a nice addition to a cake. You just take two two pieces of gumpaste/fondant or whatever you are using & roll them into a sort of worm shape. Then twist them together and viola! A rope is born.

Hope that helped thumbs_up.gif

Sorry, I don't have the books. If you are talking about using a pastry bag and tip, Wilton's Year books has the instructions.

Sorry, I misunderstood. ...I'm so engrossed in my little fondant world that I forget that people ask questions about icing. icon_redface.gif

Well you can't see it very well can you? And I have no idea how it got on there twice! I'll PM you with it, maybe you'll be able to read it thumbs_up.gif And if you still can't see it well, I can email it to you if you want. I had to resize it to post it here. thumbsdown.gif

If you click on the picture (maybe have to double click), you can enlarge it, then print it - will come full sized
