I've posted a few other questions about this cake before...here's another one!

My supervisor wants a 10" to 12" birthday cake (not sure which one yet) for 20-25 people. She asked for a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling and raspberry filling. I was planning on using buttercream on the cake to ice it...and use various sizes of fondant cirlces to give it that "polka dot" look.

I've only sold one cake with fondant (I made a toothbrush and toothpaste for a dentist icon_smile.gif ) and I charged $30 for a 10" cake...or maybe it was a 9"...I can't recall.

how much should I charge her?? I usually charge $20-$25 for 9"-10" cakes with BC borders and flowers.

I would think you should charge at least $40, if not a bit more. Hopefully you will get more responses.

For 20 people, I would charge 45.00. A 10" cake, decorated as you described, warrants that amount easily.

I'd charge $40 for a 10" round with two fillings.

For a 10" cake, 3-4 layers with 2 different fillings and decorations? I would charge at least $40-50

What do you normally charge for a 10"? And then $5 per filling.

I don't think $40-45 is out of the realm here.
